By accessing or using Terrace ("the Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Terrace. Your continued use of the platform following any updates to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.

If you are using Terrace on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Terrace is a sports prediction league platform that allows users to create private communities, submit predictions on match outcomes and scores, and compete on leaderboards against other members.

The Service includes features such as community creation and management, prediction submission and scoring, leaderboards, live match data, and social features such as community chat.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

To use most features of Terrace, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep this information up to date. Accounts created with false information may be suspended or terminated.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If we discover that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will terminate it immediately.

You may not share your account or transfer it to another person. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, contact us immediately at [email protected].

You agree to use Terrace only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the platform.

You may not use the Service to: post unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or fraudulent content; impersonate any person or entity; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform; or engage in any activity that disrupts the integrity or performance of the Service.

Automation and scraping — You may not use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access or collect data from the Service without our express written permission.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against violations of this section, including removing content, suspending accounts, and reporting to law enforcement.

Predictions submitted on Terrace are for entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute gambling or wagering of any kind. No real money is won or lost through the prediction system.

Points and scores on leaderboards are virtual and have no monetary value. Terrace makes no warranties regarding the accuracy of match data, scoring calculations, or leaderboard rankings.

Predictions are locked once a match begins or according to the deadline rules configured by the community admin. Locked predictions cannot be edited. We are not liable for predictions you failed to submit before a deadline.

Community admins may configure custom scoring rulesets and match multipliers. Terrace is not responsible for scoring configurations set by individual community administrators.

Users may create and administer communities on Terrace. As a community admin, you are responsible for the content posted within your community and for ensuring your community adheres to these Terms.

By posting content on Terrace — including community names, descriptions, chat messages, and profile information — you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

You retain ownership of all content you create. We do not claim ownership over your content.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem harmful, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate, without prior notice.

The Terrace name, logo, product design, and all associated software are the exclusive intellectual property of Terrace and its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

All trademarks, service marks, and trade names used on Terrace are the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use them.

If you believe content on Terrace infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at [email protected] with a description of the alleged infringement.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any match data, statistics, or results displayed on the platform.

Third-party links or integrations within the Service are provided for convenience only. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content or practices of any third-party sites or services.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Terrace and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to use the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) £50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain types of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you — for example, via a notice within the platform or an email to your registered address.

Your continued use of Terrace after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
